The Gourmand's Guide To Survival

Welcome, Devoted Servant…

You step into the Dungeon, a place where hunger is a force of nature, where flesh and feast are currency, and where the only stomach that matters is not your own. You do not eat. You do not taste. Your purpose is singular: to serve, to cook, to feed.

At the heart of it all sits Her Gluttonous Majesty, the Queen, a deity of indulgence and excess. She must be fed, and you must be the one to bring her food. The deeper you go into the dungeon, the rarer the ingredients, the fatter she grows, and the closer you come to unraveling the secrets of this endless feast.

Survival here is not about keeping yourself fed, but about keeping her satisfied. And that, poor traveler, is a task easier said than done.

Movement

  • A or left arrow: Move Left
  • D or right arrow: Move Right
  • S or down arrow: Move Down
  • W or up arrow: Move Up

The Dungeon is vast, and you must move swiftly if you wish to retrieve its bounty. Your movement follows the standard format of modern exploration: eight-directional navigation. Pressing any two movement keys together will allow you to slip through the dungeon diagonally—an invaluable tool when evading horrors or closing in on precious ingredients. Move with purpose, for the Queen's hunger does not wait.

Equipping Skills and Items

At the bottom of your screen lies your hotbar, a vital tool in navigating the dangers of the Dungeon. Here, you may prepare essential skills and items, ensuring swift access in moments of peril.

To arm yourself, simply right-click on an empty slot, then choose from your Skillbook or Inventory Pack. Below, a list of available tools and abilities awaits your selection. Choose wisely—hesitation in the depths is a luxury you cannot afford.

Combat

When the creatures of the Dungeon descend upon you, hesitation is death. Your default attack (E) strikes only what lurks directly before you—simple, but effective in close quarters. However, your true power lies in your equipped skills, most of which are ranged abilities. These devastating attacks fire toward your mouse cursor, allowing you to strike from a distance and control the battlefield.

Mastering both melee and ranged combat is the key to surviving the Dungeon's relentless horrors. Keep your wits sharp, your aim steady, and remember—you are not the predator here… but you must fight like one.

Within The Dungeon

The Dungeon is alive. It shifts, it breathes, and it watches. Every descent into its depths is different, yet one truth remains the same—you are here to feed the Queen, and the Dungeon will test your devotion.

Within these halls, you will encounter wandering creatures. Some are mere pests, others are grotesque beasts of malice. Some will fall easily to your blade, while others will demand everything you have just to survive.

And then, of course, there are the monarchs of this abyss—the Bosses. These towering entities are both gatekeepers and providers, their flesh yielding the most prized ingredients for the Queen’s feast. But to claim their bounty, you must first endure the battle.

Step carefully, servant of the Queen. The Dungeon is merciless, but if you are cunning, it may yet bend it to your will.

Common Monsters

The creatures that lurk within the Dungeon are neither friend nor foe—they are food.

They are your primary source of ingredients, their flesh destined for the Queen’s table. At first, they may seem insignificant—slimes that barely hold together, vermin that fall with a single strike. But do not be fooled.

The deeper you descend, the more the Dungeon reinforces its spawn. The same slimes you once crushed underfoot will become thicker, more resilient, their gelatinous bodies refusing to break as easily. The frogs that once scattered at your presence will stand their ground, faster, stronger, and far more aggressive than before.

However, the harder they are to fall, the greater you will find their bounty.

Hunt wisely, for the Dungeon feeds as much as it provides.

Bosses

Some creatures in the Dungeon are more than just obstacles—they are monuments to its endless hunger. These Bosses are colossal, twisted embodiments of the dungeon itself, far stronger than any common beast. To defeat them is a battle of endurance and skill, but those who succeed are rewarded with the most indulgent, calorie-dense ingredients imaginable.

Each Boss holds the key to the Queen’s most extravagant meals, their flesh and essence transformed into legendary feasts that will send her weight surging in leaps and bounds. Face them at your own risk—but know that the Queen’s insatiable appetite demands nothing less.

Events

The Dungeon is not a place of simple corridors and creatures—it is alive, ever-shifting, filled with whispers of things both long dead and still watching. As you explore, you may stumble upon points of interest that break the monotony of bloodshed and cooking. Some are blessings, some are curses, and some? Some exist simply to remind you that you are never truly alone.

Loot Chests

Scattered throughout the dungeon, these ornate chests offer rewards to those bold enough to open them. While a few are guaranteed to appear in every Boss arena, others can be found tucked away in the Dungeon’s depths, waiting for a sharp eye to uncover them.

What’s inside?

  • At least 3 items, typically Potions or Ethers to keep you going.
  • Rare chance to contain a fully cooked meal for the Queen.
  • Extremely rare artifacts, relics of unknown origin that may aid you in your descent.

But beware—the Dungeon does not always give without taking.

Grublin Merchant

Not all who dwell in the Dungeon wish to see you dead—some just want to make a living. The Grublin Merchant is one such oddity, a plump, well-dressed cousin of the common Grublins who normally roam the dungeon in filth and greed. Unlike its more feral kin, this particular Grublin has discovered a far more lucrative business model: selling rare goods to desperate wanderers.

With a satchel of rare ingredients slung over one shoulder and a keen eye for commerce, the Grublin Merchant offers a bargain:

Stock includes:

  • Rare, calorie-rich ingredients—an indulgent treasure for the Queen’s feast.
  • A selection of potions and ethers, useful if you’re running low.

Save Node and Restoration Node

The Maw is merciless, unrelenting, and eager to grind you down until you can go no further. But even in this abyss of hunger and horror, there exist small mercies—places where the dungeon itself grants you a moment to breathe, recover, and prepare for what lies ahead.

The Forgotten Servant

The Maw is not kind to its visitors. Many have walked these halls before you, armed with their own hopes, weapons, and desperation—but few ever returned. Some perished in battle, others lost themselves in the depths, and some… some simply stopped moving.

Occasionally, in the winding corridors of the Maw, you may stumble upon one of these lost souls—a lifeless body, long abandoned, a silent testament to the dungeon’s cruelty. Their fate is sealed, but their possessions remain.

???

There are things in the Dungeon you can fight. There are things in the Dungeon you can flee from. And then there are things in the Dungeon that simply wait.

Someone—or something—has taken an interest in your progress. Its presence is subtle at first, a flicker in the corner of your vision, a whisper behind you where there should be none. But make no mistake—it is there, and it is watching.

On rare occasions, it will strike. A test, a challenge, or perhaps something far worse. Whether you survive or not will depend on your strength, your reflexes, and your ability to withstand its gaze.

But the real question is—why does it care?

Feeding The Queen

The Queen is the sole focus of your journey. You do not eat. You do not indulge. She does.

Your duty is to prepare, present, and serve. Every journey into the Dungeon is for her sake alone, and the meals you craft will determine her mood, her form, and the blessings she bestows upon you.

Cooking

Raw ingredients alone are not worthy of the Queen. While she will consume them, their true potential is only realized through cooking. A properly prepared dish far exceeds the sum of its parts, providing exponentially more calories—and more satisfaction.

To cook, return to the kitchen ovens and interact with them. This will open a menu displaying all the meals you can prepare based on your current ingredients. Each meal is marked with a star rating—the more stars a meal has, the richer, heavier, and more indulgent it is.

If you wish to truly satisfy the Queen, you will bring her only the most decadent, most calorically obscene dishes possible.

The Act of Indulgence

When your spoils are gathered and your meals prepared, step into the Queen’s chamber. There, she will take from you everything you have prepared, consuming it automatically upon your arrival.

  • She will devour:
    • Cooked Meals
    • Raw Meat, Fruits, and Other Edible Ingredients
  • She will NOT consume:
    • Artifacts
    • Potions and Ethers
    • Common ingredients (Milk, Flour, etc.)

If you return to her empty-handed, she will grow disappointed—and you will receive zero Blessings. However, even in her disappointment, she is merciful—you will always receive one free, full heal per feeding.

The Queen’s Changing Form

The Queen’s body is not static. She feels every bite, every indulgence, every added pound.

Fullness

  • The more she is fed in a single sitting, the happier she becomes.
  • Her dialogue will change based on her current level of fullness.
  • The more satisfied she is, the greater the Blessings she bestows.

Overfed:

  • If the Queen gains 10% or more of her total weight in a single feeding, she will have something to say about it.
  • Her appearance will change, revealing painful stretch marks across her overstuffed, swollen belly.
  • These marks will fade over time, their duration linked to how much she gained:
    • Example: If she gains 50% of her weight in one sitting, the marks remain for five more feedings before disappearing.

Overfeeding is purely optional. There is no gameplay consequence—it is simply a reward for those willing to endure the dungeon long enough to resist feeding her immediately.

The Queen’s hunger is endless, her desires insatiable. Your journey is not about if she will eat—but how much.

Stats

While roaming the castle, you may find an area with a lot of crystals- interacting with said crystals will allow you to spend the Blessings bestowed upon you to upgrade your stats,

The Dungeon is relentless, and your survival depends on more than just your weapons and skills. Every encounter, every battle, and every decision is shaped by the numbers that define you. Mastering these stats will mean the difference between life and death—or worse, returning to the Queen empty-handed.
